Robert Earnshaw got a hat-trick for West Brom while we missed dozens of chances today. City should have had four or five goals by half-time. Instead, we went into the break with just Gabby's goal from a set-piece, and the inevitable happened in the second-half. Had we won, we would have gone up three places.

It was a good weekend for Welsh strikers (not to mention our rugby team.) On-loan Craig Bellamy scored a hat-trick for Celtic to keep them in the title race. Wasn't he,like Earnshaw, born in Cardiff?
Bellamy is from Cardiff. I think Earnie was born in Zambia, but grew up around Caerphilly.
