    Opera beats yobs!

Treorchy shop-keeper Ron Nedahl has started playing opera at night to keep yobs away from his shop after seeing a report of a similar experiment in the USA.

I know Ron, his wife Chris and the shop. The article (in the Rhondda Leader) doesn't tell us precisely which music was used, or who was singing, though I notice Mozart has been used in Yorkshire for the same purpose.

Ron says the scheme has been successful.

    'Carmen' to that!
