Rhodri to star in Doctor Who?

Apparently BBC make-up artists from London thought First Minister Rhodri Morgan was an actor turning up to play an alien in the second episode of the new Dr Who series, according to Wales on Sunday :
Rhodri was left speechless after red-faced Auntie Beeb staff mistook him for an actor who had landed a part as the bizarre tree-like villain Jabe the Tree in the eagerly-awaited series which starts next Saturday.
The BBC has confirmed the story.
I can think of other Assembly party leaders who could play the part of aliens without make-up.

The bit about this story that I find hard to believe is that Rhodri was left speechless.
