    Class divides

The Western Mail reports research today that confirms what we all know, that the class divide is still with us. That's why many of us were pushing in the tuition fees debate for more action to help the poorest rather than those who did not need the help.

Some of us will be raising this in the Assembly on Wednesday, when my colleague Jeff Cuthbert has a short debate called Higher Education: Pathways out of Poverty. A key issue is of course investment for our under-fives.
