    Ton Pentre Police Station

Glad to see that Ton Pentre police station has re-opened after its £1 million refurbishment and looked like it was functioning as normal again when I drove past yesterday.

Thanks to Ton Pentre resident Brian McGrath for this photo of the refurbished police station. You can enlarge the photo if you left-click on it. The Victorian facade of the 103 year old police station has been kept, but there have been significant improvements inside. Following the opening of the new Porth Police Station in July, that's a very significant investment of £2.3 million in total in the Rhondda on police facilities.
