    Parc and Dare

We were pleased to attend the Parc and Dare's new 'Lounge Alternatives' on Saturday with the Jamaican poet Jean Binta Breeze. This series of events is funded by the Arts Council of Wales from its 'Arts outside Cardiff' budget. Jean read from her poetry, which covers universal themes, as well as issues specific to Jamaican and immigrant experience, and it was a very enjoyable evening.

This series is much more informal than most events at the Parc and Dare, and you can enjoy a drink at the same time!
