    Library of Wales

There was a valuable article by Owen Sheers in Saturday's Guardian Review on the Library of Wales, created after the report of the National Assembly's Culture Committee on Welsh writing in English, and published by Parthian Books. The official site is here. The Library's editor Dai Smith had a piece on it some time back in the Guardian and you can also read him on it here and here .

I wrote about my involvement in this on the old blog. I wrote an article for the Western Mail on the importance of Welsh writing in English shortly after my election, which was re-written for the Bevan Foundation later. You can find the article here: Download written_out_of_history.doc
