The Western Mail today rightly draws attention to the lack of coverage of the official opening of the National Assembly by the London-based papers.
The absence of any reporting by the Guardian, which once had proud roots outside the South-East of England, shows what a pathetic organ of middle-class metropolitan provincialism it has become.
