    Brown on Britishness

Gordon Brown has made an important speech on Britishness today, the full text of which is available here.

It makes a strong case for Westminster and Holyrood working together: we need an equally robust argument being made for the strength of Westminster and Cardiff Bay working together.

That is what we should be talking about now.

It's a shame some people seem to want to continue the feud. I believe most people in Welsh Labour want Gordon Brown to succeed Tony Blair, as do a majority in the party in the UK. I certainly do. It is complete madness for senior figures in the party to spend their energy undermining our most likely next Leader.
