    Burberry Lobby of Parliament

Just back from the GMB Burberry lobby of Parliament. I caught the 8.25 train up with Mervyn Burnett and 3 of the shop stewards from Treorchy - Joan, John and Gaynor - and we met Chris Bryant MP and a large number of other Welsh MPs, including 2 Ministers, Kim Howells and Nick Ainger, along with Baroness (Anita) Gale of Blaenrhondda, who used to work at the factory when it was Polikoff's. Former Secretary of State Paul Murphy, former Welsh Office Minister Don Touhig, and other MPs including Wayne David, Dai Havard, Sian James, John Smith and Julie Morgan all attended.

Good coverage I think in the Welsh media.

    More on the campaign website.
