    BBC Hutton Minutes

Following a case brought by the Guardian, the BBC has published the minutes of its Governors' meetings of 28 January 2004 and 5 February 2004 relating to the departure of Greg Dyke.

Since I am currently writing a book on the BBC which will feature a chapter on Hutton, I will not comment further at this stage. Some of the material, as the BBC's own media correspondent Torin Douglas says, has been in the public domain before. But the minutes provide some new material in respect of the detail of the Governors' discussions of Greg Dyke's position.
