    Burberry Concert

Great concert last night for the Burberry workers in the Rhondda. Well done Gruff Rhys, Stuart Cable and Killing for Company, The Automatic, GLC and The Alarm.

Fun seeing GLC and The Automatic on stage together at one point - not sure that's been seen before!

Some of the shop stewards reworked The Automatic's hit 'Monster' - 'what's that coming over the hill, is it a closure?'

The concert will be shown on BBC2W on Thursday. Pictures should be on the Keep Burberry British site in the week if I can get them off the GMB.

Thanks to Emyr and Mair Afan and the team at the Pop Factory for organising the show, the BBC for filming it, and the bands themselves - the Automatic were on their European tour and flew back specially.

The Observer magazine today has a long article about the story of the campaign. Wales on Sunday looks forward to Friday.
