    Tories' Health contradictions

    Jonathan Morgan AM, the Conservative Health Spokesperson, made some offensive and stupid comments about our new Health Minister Dr Brian Gibbons yesterday, telling the Western Mail "Rhodri Morgan has decided to give Jane Hutt's job to one of his more mediocre colleagues."

    But David Melding AM, Conservative Chair of the Assembly Health Committee, says

    "I welcome Dr Gibbons’s promotion to the Cabinet; he is a talented individual, and I am sure that he will serve well as Minister."

    David Melding knows what he is talking about and has respect across the parties on health. He made Jonathan Morgan look foolish.
