    City: will Michael Isaacs go?

The Echo is reporting that Michael Isaacs is disillusioned and thinking of leaving the City board.

It was only in March that he stepped in to help.

This development is obviously worrying, as was Kim Walker's departure before.

We also had news last week that the Council is thinking of taking over the stadium development.

It may be time to make some more enquiries. As I said three weeks ago, I am more optimistic than I was in March, but as I also said then:

'I approach next season with no illusions. I will be looking to the board to fulfil their responsibilities in terms of holding a company AGM as a vehicle to keep us informed, and more importantly, to deliver the stadium. I also hope we have a bullshit-free season.'

5000+ of us have invested in the future through buying season tickets for next season after all.
