The Breakdown of Tom Nairn
The Institute of Welsh Affairs decided, for some unaccountable reason, to commission Tom Nairn to write an attack on Gordon Brown after his Britishness speech at the January Fabian Conference.
Having received it, they then decided to ask some of us to comment on it, and produced a book.
