    Science Policy

The National Assembly’s Economic Development and Transport Committee is carrying out a consultation exercise as part of its review into science policy in Wales.

The review will look at a science policy for Wales that more effectively supports the development of a knowledge-based economy. In particular, the current range of research and development carried out in Wales in both public and private sectors; the ways in which it can be strengthened and made more effective, covering likely priorities for science awareness, skills provision, higher education excellence, technology transfer and innovation.

As a member of the committee, I would be pleased to hear from anyone with views on these issues.
